Veľká Domaša

Veľká Domaša is the pride of Eastern Slovakia. It is built on the Ondava River, which is located in the mountains – Ondavská Highlands. The warm climate of the lake is suitable for various types of water sports and fishing.

Veľká Domaša was built due to the lack of drinking water, but currently attracts lovers of swimming and water sports every year. During the construction, 6 villages were flooded.

Reservoir

The tank attracts tourists with its clear water with admirable self-cleaning ability, beautiful surroundings and quiet corners. The temperature of the water is 23 ° C, which is ideal for swimming. It is one of the warmest artificial lakes in Slovakia and is especially suitable for fans of windsurfing and swimming.
