Castle Čabraď

Čabraď Castle is located in the south of Slovakia. Originally a guard castle, which was built to guard the road leading to the central mining towns of Slovakia. In the 16th century it was rebuilt and successfully resisted all Turkish invasions. Castle and its surroundings is currently a National Nature Reserve with a rich occurrence of reptiles, especially snake.

Dobrá Voda Castle

The ruins of Dobrá Voda Castle are located above the territory of the Dobrovod Karst. The castle was built as a Gothic guard castle in the 13th century on the site of an older fortress. Its decline was completed by a fire in 1762 and at the end of the 18th century there was only a prison.
