Súľov Rocks and Rock Gate

The mighty Rock Gate in Slopy is sometimes referred to as the Giant Gate or the Panská Gate. It is certainly one of the most impressive natural creations of the Súľov Rocks.

This 8-meter-high natural formation has been mentioned in written records from the 13th century, which is a very interesting phenomenon.

The Rock Gate in Slopy is located on the yellow-marked hiking trail, only a short distance from the Roháč – Čiakov crossroads.
