Orava Dam

Orava dam is one of the most popular dams in Slovakia. Popular recreational activities include boating, surfing, yachting and water biking.

The Orava Dam is the result of an artificial blockage of the Orava River in northern Slovakia, which was necessary to prevent frequent flooding in the area.
