Nitrianske Rudno is located near the Strazov Mountains. Its water reservoir is the center of local tourism. Together with the Nitrianske Rudno area, it is a popular recreation center among young people.

The reservoir provides good conditions for surfing and fishing. Active relaxation on boats and water bikes is also an unforgettable experience. If you prefer an active rest we recommend a cycling trip through the mountain settlements Gápel, which is part of the village Valaská Belá, or visit the village Čičmany, which is known for its unique architecture – painted log cabins.
